A seasoned Chicago-area veterinarian, Dr. Joel Todd Leroy Prince currently serves as a partner and practicing medical professional with affiliated Animal Care Centers, located in Elmhurst, Naperville, and Glen Ellyn, Illinois; in 2013, the Animal Care Center family of clinics is planning to open a fourth location, in the adjacent community of Springbrook.
Dr. Joel Todd Leroy Prince built upon his undergraduate Animal Science studies at Iowa State University with a Doctor of Veterinary Medicine (DVM) from the University of Illinois at Urbana. As one of only fifteen DVMs in the state of Illinois to receive official certification from the American Board of Veterinary Practitioners, Dr. Prince continues to complete more than 100 hours of continued academic training each year. He is also board-certified in the specialized fields of Canine and Feline Practice, and Small Animal Practice.
An animal lover both in and out of the medical office, Dr. Joel Todd Leroy Prince is the owner of a Doberman Pinscher named Del and a Boston Terrier named Bella. His ongoing involvement with professional organizations such as the American, Illinois, and Chicago Veterinary Medical Associations keeps Dr. Prince abreast of the latest advancements in his field. In his limited free time, Dr. Prince enjoys golf, travel, and rooting for his favorite Chicago sports teams.
